Heal the World
ONE POSTURE AT A TIME
One Posture at a Time teaches yoga and mindfulness to recovering alcoholics and addicts, their families, and to all those affected by the dis-ease of addiction in the Athens community.
Our guided moving meditation eases the pain of chemical detox and reduces the emotional, mental and spiritual harm caused by the toxic lifestyle of addiction.
By expressing one posture at a time, the negative blocks of shame and dis-ease, the issues-in-the-tissues, are removed for the innate sense of self-respect, self-love and self-control that exisits inside every human being can fully be recovered and realized.
Currently, at Fuel Hot Yoga, we serve clients from Athens Addiction Recovery Center, Advantage Behavioral Health, the Alliance Recovery Center and The Western Judicial Circuit Felony Drug Court and the Treatment and Accountability Court (TAC).
Funds donated support clothing, mats, towels, room rental, teacher fees, client transportation and introductory months of yoga.
By serving the community, we heal the world.
